Buck Stove Freedom Fryer
A 4-gallon propane deep fryer built to the same standard as Buck's stoves: 90,000 BTUs under four gallons of oil, which is enough capacity to cook for a crowd rather than a family. Fish fries, turkeys, wings, a low-country boil — anything you would otherwise do on a flimsy stand in the driveway.
The burner is sealed with an adjustable air shutter, so you set the flame and it holds it, and the whole thing wears high-heat resistant outdoor paint. A 3-inch thermometer is built into the front.
Propane only. Made in the USA by Buck Stove in Spruce Pine, North Carolina.

Questions buyers ask
How much can it cook at once?
Four gallons of oil is enough for a whole turkey or a run of fish fillets without the oil temperature crashing between batches — which is what separates a real fryer from a camping burner.
Can I run it on natural gas?
No. The Freedom Fryer is propane only.
Does it come with a stand?
The fryer is the countertop unit at 22" wide and 69 lbs. Buck offers a rolling cart and a stationary stand as separate accessories — linked below.
Can I control the flame?
Yes. The sealed burner has an adjustable air shutter, and the 3" thermometer on the front tells you where the oil actually is.
