Frequently Asked Questions
How is this delivered?
Ships via LTL freight, curbside delivery. The freight carrier calls 24 hours ahead to schedule a 4-hour delivery window. Plan to have two adults available — the largest cabinet weighs about 250 lbs. The freight company brings it down off the truck with a liftgate; getting it from curbside to your backyard is on you. Allow 7–14 business days from order to delivery in the continental U.S.
How hard is the assembly?
Easier than it looks. Cabinets arrive pre-assembled — you bolt them together on site, drop the appliances into their cutouts, and hook up gas and electric. Two adults can complete the full assembly in about 2 hours. No special tools required — a basic socket set and a level.
Do I need a gas line installed?
If you order the Natural Gas version, yes — a licensed plumber needs to run a 1/2" or 3/4" gas line to the grill location. Most installs take a couple of hours. If you order the Liquid Propane version, no — you connect a standard 20 lb propane tank inside the cabinet (tank not included).
What's the warranty?
Mont Alpi warrants the grill burners for 2 years and all other components (refrigerator, kegerator, side burner, cabinetry, ignition) for 1 year from date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship. We're an authorized dealer, so warranty claims go through us — call (708) 765-6925 and we'll handle it directly with Mont Alpi.
What if my unit arrives damaged?
Inspect every box before signing the freight bill of lading. If you see any damage — even just a dent in the packaging — write "DAMAGED" on the BOL before signing and take photos. Then call us at (708) 765-6925 within 24 hours. We'll file the freight claim and ship replacement parts at no cost to you. Signing a clean BOL waives most damage claims, so this inspection matters.
Is this the right model for me?
The 805 series is Mont Alpi's flagship 6-burner kitchen — best for serious entertainers or anyone cooking for 8+ at a time. If you want something smaller for everyday use, the 400 series is the same Mont Alpi build quality at a smaller footprint. If you want even more cooking surface, ask about the 957.
